1688 Says Delivered: Where Is My Nigeria Order?
1688 says delivered but your order is not in Nigeria? Check tracking, confirm warehouse receipt and trace the next shipping stage before paying extra charges.

1688 Says Delivered: Where Is My Nigeria Order?
If 1688 says delivered but you have not received your goods in Nigeria, first check which delivery stage the update describes. It may refer to a Chinese warehouse, a collection point or the final destination recorded for that shipment.
Match the tracking event to the order's actual delivery arrangement. Then obtain confirmation from the party responsible for the next stage.
This guide was checked on 26 October 2026. It covers purchases using an independent forwarder and orders using an available 1688 Official Logistics route; the records and responsibilities can differ.
1. What does “delivered” mean on a 1688 order? #
Read the full tracking event, including the destination, location, date and receiving details. The word alone does not explain the complete journey to Nigeria.
For an order sent to your forwarder's China address, a domestic courier's delivery event can refer to that warehouse. You still need confirmation that the warehouse received and identified your parcel, followed by the onward shipping arrangements.
For an order using an international logistics service, check whether the event belongs to the domestic stage, an intermediate handover or final delivery.
Do not assume that every update concerns the same leg. Our 1688 shipping guide explains the wider buying and freight arrangement.
Start by asking: which address was this parcel supposed to reach, and who now has responsibility for it?
2. Which shipping route did you actually choose? #
An independent warehouse or forwarder
The seller sends goods to a receiving address in China. Your agent or forwarder then arranges the next shipment under the service you agreed.
In this arrangement, the seller's domestic tracking and the forwarder's onward records need to be connected. A Nigerian delivery address written in your WhatsApp conversation does not prove it was the destination entered in the seller's order.
1688 Official Logistics where available
WorldFirst's current Africa 1688 FAQ describes domestic and international tracking through 1688 Official Logistics on the order page and identifies Speedaf as the Nigerian logistics partner.
Check that your actual order uses this route and review the stage shown. Do not assume every seller, product, account or Nigerian address has the same service available.
If Speedaf is the carrier assigned to your shipment, its Nigeria help page directs customers to its official website or app for tracking. Use the number associated with that carrier's leg.
3. What order and tracking details should you collect? #
Keep the purchase order number, courier waybill number and forwarder shipment reference separately. They identify different records and may not work in the same tracking system.
Ask the purchaser or seller for:
- The affected order and product variant.
- The courier name and every parcel's waybill number.
- The delivery address entered for that order.
- The expected parcel or carton count.
- Dispatch photographs and the latest tracking details.
- Your warehouse customer code or assigned shipping mark.
You may encounter these Chinese labels:
- 订单号: order number.
- 物流单号 / 运单号: logistics or waybill number.
- 已发货: dispatched/shipped status.
- 已揽收: collected by the courier.
- 运输中: in transit.
- 派送中: out for delivery.
- 已签收: received or signed for.
Read the surrounding details because wording varies. A shipped status should be checked against actual carrier events. FedEx, for example, explains that an online label can generate a shipped notification before a parcel receives its first physical scan.
That is a carrier example of why a status label needs context, not a description of every 1688 courier's system.
4. How do you confirm the warehouse received your goods? #
Send the warehouse the courier number, delivery event, supplier name, dispatch photos and your customer code together. Ask it to search its receiving records rather than searching only by your Nigerian name.
Request confirmation of:
- The receiving date and recorded recipient.
- The waybill number matched to your account.
- The number of parcels or cartons received.
- The warehouse's receiving or stock reference.
- Label photographs and the recorded condition of the packaging.
Our China warehouse-address guide explains the receiving details to confirm before dispatch.
Compare the address and telephone number in the order with the warehouse's authorised receiving instructions. If either differs, ask the seller and courier to investigate the actual delivery location.
Check the labels too. Missing or incorrect customer codes can make a delivered parcel difficult to identify. Use our shipping-marks guide when preparing future orders.
A sealed-carton receiving record confirms what the warehouse recorded receiving. It does not automatically establish the quantity or condition of every item inside.
5. What proves your goods have left China? #
When 1688 says delivered, look for the next relevant milestone in the service you purchased. Warehouse receipt, packing approval, a booking, actual departure and Nigerian arrival are separate events.
Ask your forwarder for the shipment reference, carton allocation, latest confirmed location and the next action. Establish whether a quoted departure is planned or has actually occurred.
A tracking number or transport document alone does not prove departure. DHL's tracking explanation, for example, distinguishes a shipment-information event from physical movement and a scheduled movement from an actual departure event.
For air cargo, our air-waybill guide explains the references to discuss with your forwarder. Ask how your individual cartons connect to the relevant consignment.
If orders were consolidated or repacked, request the link between the old parcel numbers and the new shipment reference. Our combining-orders guide covers that preparation.
For example, a hypothetical order has three parcels, but the warehouse has matched only two. Record three expected, two confirmed and one unresolved. Ask whether onward dispatch should wait while the missing parcel is traced.
6. What should you do if nobody can find the parcel? #
Open a documented trace with the party handling the disputed stage. Ask the seller or purchaser to request the domestic courier's delivery evidence where available, while the warehouse checks its own records.
If the event claims final delivery in Nigeria, verify the recorded address, collection point, recipient and delivering carrier. Check with authorised reception or household contacts before describing the parcel as lost.
You can send:
“Please trace order [ORDER]. Courier/waybill: [DETAILS]. Tracking records delivery at [LOCATION] on [DATE/TIME]. Expected parcels: [NUMBER]; confirmed received: [NUMBER]. My customer mark is [CODE]. Please confirm the receiving record, available delivery proof, current location and next action. Attached are the order address, label photos and tracking event.”
Keep screenshots, original documents and written replies together. Record the time zone shown in tracking so that different local dates do not create confusion.
Check the claim, return or dispute options and deadlines displayed for the actual order. If an agent purchased it, ask that purchaser to act through the relevant account and provide the case reference.
Verify unexpected release-fee or redelivery requests through the responsible carrier's official channel before paying. Ask for the charge, reason and applicable shipment reference.
Once located, arrange the receiving checks you need. Our quality-inspection guide explains how to check goods beyond the outer-carton record.
7. What else do Nigerians ask about 1688 tracking? #
Does delivered mean my goods have reached Nigeria? #
Check the location and delivery leg. The event may concern the China receiving address or another stage. For an international order, read the corresponding logistics milestone and final-destination details.
Can I track an official-logistics order inside 1688? #
WorldFirst's current Africa guidance describes domestic and international tracking through 1688 Official Logistics on the order page. Confirm that your order uses that service and follow its displayed records.
Why does the warehouse say it has not received my parcel? #
Possible issues include a different delivery address, missing customer identification or a mismatch between the courier and receiving records. Compare the evidence before deciding who is responsible or whether the parcel is lost.
Why does one tracking number work but another does not? #
You may be using an order number, a number for another carrier or a reference for a different stage. Ask the sender or forwarder which system accepts it and whether a new number was assigned.
What if only part of my order is marked delivered? #
Ask whether the seller split the purchase into multiple parcels. List every waybill and compare expected parcels with confirmed warehouse receipts. A delivery event for one parcel does not establish receipt of all the others.
Should I confirm receipt before the warehouse checks the goods? #
Read what that confirmation means for the order and remaining claim options. Verify receipt and the checks agreed with the purchaser or warehouse. Do not confirm merely because somebody promises to investigate afterwards.
Will 1688 automatically refund a missing parcel? #
A delivery discrepancy does not establish an automatic refund. Submit accurate evidence through the process available for the order. The outcome depends on the facts, applicable terms and the stage where the problem occurred.
ChinaBridge can help you discuss receiving checks, parcel identification and onward freight; agree the scope and fees first. If 1688 says delivered, trace the recorded event through to the next responsible party before making further arrangements.
