China Warehouse Address for Nigerian Buyers

A China warehouse address for Nigerian buyers is the local delivery point where your supplier sends the goods before a forwarder arranges shipment to Nigeria.

It can help when you are buying from 1688, ordering from several suppliers or arranging your own freight after an Alibaba purchase.

But an address copied from a WhatsApp group is not enough. You need the current receiving details, your customer reference and confirmation that the warehouse accepts your goods.

Otherwise, the seller may say "delivered" while the warehouse cannot identify your parcel.

Set up the receiving arrangement before the supplier dispatches your order.

How do Nigerian buyers get a China warehouse address? #

Request it directly from the freight forwarder or buying agent you intend to use.

The forwarder should give you the warehouse address, receiving contact, Chinese phone number and any customer code or shipping mark required for your parcels.

Ask for the address in Chinese and an English version for your records. Send the original Chinese version to the supplier so important details are not lost in translation.

Before accepting the address, confirm:

A warehouse address is a delivery instruction. It does not prove that the supplier or forwarder is reliable.

Check the company and the arrangement before committing your goods. Our Chinese supplier scams guide explains warning signs to watch for when buying.

For the wider ordering process, read how to buy from Alibaba in Nigeria.

What should the address and shipping mark contain? #

Keep the receiving address and your parcel identification together.

Your supplier will normally need the recipient name, warehouse phone number, province, city, district and detailed street or building address. Use the exact details provided by the warehouse.

If a checkout form asks for a postcode, obtain the confirmed code for that address.

The shipping mark helps the warehouse match the cartons to you. It may contain a customer number, name, destination or another reference assigned by the forwarder.

Do not invent your own mark unless the warehouse agrees to use it.

Copy this checklist and replace each item with your confirmed details:

Ask whether the shipping mark should appear on every carton and on the delivery paperwork.

Your Nigerian delivery address is a separate instruction for the onward shipment. Keep it on the forwarder's booking record.

A phone number written on a carton may not be enough to identify the owner.

How do you send 1688 or Alibaba orders to the warehouse? #

Give the supplier the confirmed receiving details before dispatch and ask them to repeat the address and shipping mark back to you.

For 1688, enter the China warehouse details as the domestic receiving address where the platform supports that arrangement. If an agent places the order, check the address saved in the agent's order.

Our guide to shipping goods from 1688 to Nigeria covers the wider process.

For Alibaba, agree whether the supplier's delivery ends at the China warehouse or continues to Nigeria. Record the actual arrangement in the order.

Do not treat domestic delivery to a forwarder as proof that the seller has completed a separately agreed delivery to Nigeria. Keep the supplier's responsibilities and the forwarder's responsibilities clear.

If using Trade Assurance, read our Alibaba Trade Assurance guide for Nigerians before paying.

Send the supplier a message like this:

Please deliver this order to the confirmed China warehouse address below. Write my assigned shipping mark on every carton. Before dispatch, send the carton count, product description and photos showing the labels. After dispatch, send the domestic courier name and tracking number. Confirm the local delivery charge and who will pay it before shipping.

Notify the warehouse about the incoming order too. Give it the seller's name, tracking number, expected carton count and your customer reference.

How can you confirm your goods reached the warehouse? #

Check both the seller's domestic tracking and the warehouse's receiving record.

A courier delivery update is useful, but you still need confirmation that the correct warehouse received the correct parcels and linked them to your account.

Request:

Compare the received carton count with the supplier's dispatch record.

If the seller sent four cartons and the warehouse recorded three, ask both parties to investigate before approving onward shipment.

Receiving checks and product inspection are different services.

An outer-carton photo does not confirm the model, size, quantity or condition of every item inside.

If you need the cartons opened, items counted, products tested or samples compared, agree the inspection scope and fee in advance. See our quality inspection in China guide.

If the warehouse cannot find your parcel, send the tracking proof, shipping mark, seller contact and dispatch photos together. This gives the receiving team a useful record to trace.

Can you combine orders from different suppliers? #

Yes, if the warehouse offers consolidation and the goods can travel together under the agreed shipping arrangement.

Consolidation means collecting your separate supplier deliveries before arranging the onward shipment. It does not necessarily mean putting every product into one large box.

For example, you might buy bags from one seller, packaging from another and phone accessories from a third. Keep a separate order and tracking record for each supplier, then ask the warehouse to match the arrivals against your list.

Give the warehouse clear instructions:

Do not assume that consolidation will always reduce your total cost. Compare the final packing, freight and handling charges.

Tell the forwarder about batteries, liquids, powders and other goods needing special handling before the sellers dispatch. Get product-specific acceptance instructions; see our guide to shipping batteries from China.

What does warehouse shipping to Nigeria actually cost? #

There is no single warehouse-to-Nigeria price that covers every order.

Ask for a written breakdown of the services you will use:

A "free warehouse address" does not automatically mean free storage, handling or shipping.

For air freight and courier shipments, check the chargeable weight. Bulky goods can be billed above their scale weight because they occupy more space.

DHL's explanation of chargeable weight shows why both weight and dimensions matter. Ask your forwarder which calculation, minimum and rounding rules apply to your shipment.

Illustration only: If a carton weighs 12 kg but its calculated volumetric weight is 20 kg, a quotation using the higher figure would apply the agreed rate to 20 kg.

For sea freight, ask whether your quotation uses cubic metres, weight, a container rate or another agreed basis.

Read our shipping cost from China to Nigeria per kg guide and include every relevant charge in your landed cost calculation.

If your business is in Aba, Onitsha, Kano or Port Harcourt, check the onward delivery charge from the Nigerian arrival or collection point.

Get your warehouse details before placing the order #

Choose a China warehouse address for Nigerian buyers as part of a complete receiving and shipping arrangement.

Before the supplier sends anything, you should know:

Keep the address, order details, tracking records and quotation together.

A warehouse receiving your goods does not replace the documents or approvals needed for your product. Check our guide to the certificate your import needs before shipment.

ChinaBridge Global can help you discuss the receiving and freight arrangements for your order. Send your product description, supplier location, estimated carton count, weight or dimensions and Nigerian destination.

Request the current receiving instructions through our shipping from China to Nigeria service before asking your supplier to dispatch.
