But the invitation is only one part of the process.

Does a Canton Fair invitation guarantee a China visa? #

No.

The Canton Fair does not issue visas.

The invitation helps establish the commercial purpose of your proposed trip.

The Chinese visa authorities make the visa decision after considering your complete application.

For the 140th Canton Fair visa arrangement, the Visa Application Centre states that normal processing after document submission is approximately four working days, but processing time can change.

More importantly, the special Canton Fair notice says expedited service is not available.

“I will pay express if I am late.”

Can you use an old Canton Fair invitation? #

No.

If you attended an earlier session, your previous invitation relates to that previous fair and trip.

Apply for the invitation for the session you are attending now.

Your previous Buyer Badge can still be useful.

If you already have the physical overseas Buyer Badge from an earlier session, keep it.

The badge is designed for repeated use across Canton Fair sessions.
